Funding Opportunities
Congressional
Special Interest Funding (CSI): CSIs are submitted through
the USAMRMC Broad Agency Announcement and are receive a two tier
level of review by TATRC’s Proposal Review Board and an
independent review process.
Augmentation Funds: Proposals for Augmentation funding are submitted through the USAMRMC Broad Agency Announcement and are reviewed utilizing the same process as for the congressional special interest funding. Augmentation funding awards are relatively low dollar amounts (often less than $250K per proposal or per phase) and are highly competitive. Military Relevance is of the highest priority. Submission to Augmentation funding is open to everyone.
Small
Business Innovation Research/ Small Business Technology Transfer
(SBIR/STTR): SBIR/STTR funding is administered through
The Office of Technology. These programs are competitive and allow
the small business a route to develop high-tech, innovative research
that could develop into commercial opportunities. These programs
are a significant part of the federal government's research and
development efforts.
